Terms of use

Last updated: 26 June 2026

By using medkit (the "service") you agree to the terms below. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service.

Purpose — training, not clinical decisions

medkit is a training and simulation environment for medical students, residents, and those preparing for OSCE-style exams. You interview AI patients, take a history, order tests, and receive structured feedback at the end of the simulation.

Anything produced in medkit is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan. Even where it cites published clinical guidelines, it must not be treated as a decision-support tool for use on real patients.

Disclaimer — medkit is not for real patient care

The service is provided "as is". medkit:

  • Is not approved for use in real patient care, clinical decisions, or emergencies.
  • Is not licensed as a medical device and is not certified by any health authority.
  • May present diagnoses, tests, or treatment suggestions that are wrong; as a clinician, you are responsible for the final decision.

The medkit team cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect harm arising from use of the service in the care of a real patient.

Account & access

You need an account to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. If you notice unauthorized use, please notify us immediately at support@medkit.clinic.

By registering you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you use the service with the consent of your legal guardian.

Prohibited use

When using the service, you agree not to:

  • Upload real patients' identifiable data (ID numbers, medical reports, real imaging files, and the like).
  • Relay medkit's output to a real patient as direct medical advice.
  • Reverse-engineer the service, overload it with automated tools, or attempt to bypass its security layers.
  • Harass other users or abuse the system to generate misleading content.
  • Use the service in any way that breaks applicable law or the ethical rules of the medical profession.

If these rules are broken we may suspend or terminate your account without notice.

Changes to the service

medkit is under active development. We may add, change, or remove features with or without prior notice. If we need to suspend the service in whole or in part, we will announce it on this page and, where possible, by email.

We may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page; continuing to use the service means you accept the current terms.
